1982 - NUTKAO is established in Piobesi d'Alba, in the province of Cuneo, by Giuseppe Braida, who is the current Managing Director of the company.

NUTKAO begins producing its spreads and pastry products, for distribution through wholesale channels, street vendors and small shops.

From the very start, the company meets with the favour of the public and begins growing rapidly: first by adding new products to its line-up, including private label products, then by distributing its products nationwide with the aid of sales managers, and eventually by focusing on the export markets.

In 2001, the company moves to Canove di Govone (not far from the old premises), into a modern plant of new design, with an area under cover of ca 9000 m2 and leading-edge production lines.
